Volunteers play a crucial role in the servicing of the Soup Kitchen. Individuals, Groups and Corporate organisation have contributed the success of the Soup Kitchen.

Individual Volunteers

We have two types of volunteers: Role-specific volunteers and one off volunteers.

Role-specific volunteers are required to volunteer for a minimum of two months.  If you would like to apply to be a Role-specific volunteer please email brixtonsoupkitchen@gmail.com. If we believe that you are suitable, you will be contacted. Keep an eye on our Instagram stories for vacancies (@brixtonsoupkitchen).

Monday’s and Tuesday’s are the allocated day for temporary volunteers.  To book an opportunity to volunteer please email brixtonsoupkitchen@gmail.com. In the email please provide age, contact details, skills and interest.

All volunteering hours are between 10am to 2pm on weekdays.

Group Volunteers

Group volunteers are required to volunteer for a minimum of two months, during our working hours. Volunteering hours are between 10am to 2pm on weekdays.

Under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult or guardian.  If you would like to apply to be a volunteer please email brixtonsoupkitchen@gmail.com. If you are successful you will be contacted.

Corporate Days

Corporate Days are on Thursday’s and Fridays between 10am to 2pm. Activities can include: Cooking, Fundraising, Befriending service users and more. If you organisations specialises in a skill area that can benefit the organisation system of BSK (eg. Web design), please do not hesitate to tell us in your email for your corporate day.

Corporate days provide amazing opportunities for team building and corporate social responsibility. A donation is required to participate to help the Soup Kitchen carry out our good work. If interested please email brixtonsoupkitchen@gmail.com

Safeguarding
